Canadian premiere of Not Bad

Anthill Films' new production promises a month of tomfoolery in New Zealand

Vancouver-area fans of mountain biking can check out the latest from Anthill Films at the Narrows Pub in North Vancouver on July 24. Titled Not Bad, the film promises two-wheeled fun focused on a 30-day trip to New Zealand.

The film stars Brandon Semenuk, Brook MacDonald, Brett Rheder, Cam McCaul, Andrew Shandro, Rene Wildhaber and Ryan Howard.

Anthill Films was originally called The Collective, releasing their first film of the same name. Since then, the group has produced a string of successful films including Roam, Seasons, Follow Me and Strength in Numbers.

Judging from the trailer, viewers can expect plenty of groomed dirt-jump parks and sculpted ramps. Keen eyes may also notice the Rude Rock trail. There also appears to be a lot of sheep: it is New Zealand after all.

The only other Canadian date on the calendar is in Canmore, Alta., at the Boston Pizza, July 25. Anyone interested in hosting a showing can contact Anthill Films for more details.
