“Through humour – an emerging rivalry between our champion Geoff Kabush and a team of South African racers – viewers can experience just a taste of the basecamp culture that ebbs and flows each year as unique characters bring a new flavour to the event,” the film summary reads.

The 2018 edition of the BC Bike Race takes place from July 6 to 13. Racers from 40 countries are expected, a record for the event, in the 600 rider field. Last year’s edition was won by Kabush who will return in 2018 to defend his title.
