Watch this cyclist get knocked over…by a leopard

The scary moment in India was caught on camera

As a cyclist, there’s a lot to worry about as a vulnerable road user: cars, potholes, pedestrians…sometimes other cyclists.  But a leopard? That’s a new one.

A viral video shows a man riding his bike along a road in Kaziranga National Park, in India. Suddenly, the poor guy is attacked by the big cat out of nowhere. The leopard jumps out (with cat-like reactions, you might say) from the trees.

Thankfully, the cyclist didn’t become cat food, but park rangers are urging anyone using the road to not stop their cars or bikes as there are many wild animals in the area that cross the road.
