The fourth round of the 2017-2018 UCI cyclocross World Cup has some Scandinavian flavour taking place in Denmark on Sunday. The venue in Bogense, a small town on the north coast of the central island of Fyn, will host the UCI world championships in 2019.

In the men’s race look to regular protagonists Mathieu van der Poel to rebound from his mechanical marred effort at last weeks Superprestige in Gavare. Wout Van Aert won that race and will hope to keep the momentum going but van der Poel remains unbeaten through four rounds of the World Cup this season. Lars van der Haar, Quinten Hermans, Michael Vanthourenhout and Laurens Sweeck are amount the challengers to keep an eye on to contend for the podium.

Sanne Cant leads the women’s World Cup series with Sophie de Boer on her heals. American Kaitlin Keough sits third. Canadian Julie van der Hoop is flying the maple leaf as the only Canadian in Denmark.
