MEC Bikefest coming to Hamilton

The MEC Bikefest is coming to Hamilton in 2014.

The celebration and show of all things bike-related, hosted in cycling-friendly hotspots across the country, will touchdown in Steeltown on June 29, the Sunday before Canada Day, and run between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. The event will be held in Confederation Park on the waterfront, making it easily accessible by bike.

The Hamilton show will be focused on road cycling as each event has a focus on riding that is popular in that region of the city.

The event is a non-profit show that will feature cycling exhibitors, clinics and sponsored rides. There will also be a gear swap and some gear giveaways.
