Ontario Cycling Association cycling celebration

The Ontario Cycling Association (OCA) is having its annual cycling celebration at the Cardinal Golf Club in King City, Ont., on Saturday, Nov. 15. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the evening’s festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m.

After last year’s celebration, which was the biggest event the celebration’s 14-year history, tickets are expected to sell out. Registration for the event closes Nov. 10 at noon, unless tickets sell out before then.

The premise of the evening is to honour the OCA’s high achievers: athletes, organizers and volunteers alike. In addition to awards, the provincial champions and the top three Ontario Cup series finishers will be honoured for their performances in 2014.

There will be raffle prizes and all proceeds will be donated to Mattamy National Cycling Centre.
