The Campabalooza fat bike festival and race in Canmore

Are you a fan of fat biking and from Alberta? You may want to check out Canmore & Area Mountain Bike Association’s (CAMBA) second winter outdoor event, CAMBAPALOOZA, on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Canmore Nordic Centre (above the toboggan hill).

The event is family-friendly and includes a winter fat bike race, fat bike trials and skills sessions. There’s also discounted fat bike rentals, CAMBA’s SnowDogs demos, trail running and bike races, fires, hot chocolate, music, prizes, and more.

You just have to try fat biking this winter

A SnowDog is a compact, motorized machine designed to assist with winter activities, such as grooming trails or hauling gear. It typically consists of a tracked base with a small engine and handlebars for steering. SnowDogs are great for maintaining fat biking trails.

You can explore over 20 km of maintained fat bike trails, visit the Winter Expo, and practice your fat biking skills.

10 a.m.: Fat bike race
11 a.m.: Demo bikes and skills sessions
11:30 a.m.: Group ride and runs
