Beautiful builds, craftsmanship, and paint were celebrates in Salt Lake City at the 13th edition of NAHBS

With a total of 180 exhibitors, the 2017 North American Handmade Bicycle Show took place over the weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah. On March 12, the 13th edition of the show wrapped up and awards across three categories were presented to builders.

Riding discipline division

Fully complete bikes are presented in the riding discipline division with entries being judged on their paint, component choice, aesthetics and discipline appropriateness.

Construction division

In this category, naked frames are judged. The frames are presented with a fork, headset and stem.

Overall design winners

A themed category where bicycles are judged on the execution of the overall theme, concept or heritage that the frame builder is seeking to accomplish.

The 2018 NAHBS will take place on Feb. 18 to 18 in Hartford, Connecticut.
