Gallery: The 2017 North American Handmade Bicycle Show winners

With a total of 180 exhibitors, the 2017 North American Handmade Bicycle Show took place over the weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah. On March 12, the 13th edition of the show wrapped up and awards across three categories were presented to builders.

Riding discipline division

Best cyclocross bike - Donhue

Best artisan bike - Black Sheep

Best mountain bike - Skylar

Best city bike/utility bike - Shamrock

Best tandem bike - Santana

Best city bike/ utility bike - Shamrock Cycles

Best gravel bike - Mosaic

Best track bike - LOW

Best fillet frame - David Kirk

Fully complete bikes are presented in the riding discipline division with entries being judged on their paint, component choice, aesthetics and discipline appropriateness.

Construction division

Best fillet frame - David Kirk

Best TIG frame - Eriksen

Best carbon layup - Alchemy

In this category, naked frames are judged. The frames are presented with a fork, headset and stem.
