Live stream Zeven UCI cyclocross 2017-2018 World Cup #5

Racing goes off on Saturday, Nov. 25

The Telenet cylocross World Cup heads to Germany and the venue in Zeven for the fifth round. The race goes off on Saturday, Nov. 25. Last year, Mathieu van der Poel won the men’s race and Sanne Cant was victorious in the women’s race in Lower Saxony. Both led the World Cup standings in their respective fields this year and are favourites on Saturday.

The Zeven course looks to be saturated with water promising a true mud festival after relatively clean first half of the World Cup calendar. Last week in Bogense, Denmark, van der Poel dominated the men’s race escaping mid-way through to win solo. Cant used a similar strategy to win in Denmark but had mechanical trouble on the bell lap caused a real scare. Canadian cyclocross champion Christel Ferrier-Bruneau is the only Canadian on the startlist.
