New Giant NeosTrack GPS computer is powerful, affordable and attractive

ANT+ and Bluetooth enabled Giant NeosTrack's price, features and more

The Giant NeosTrack GPS cycling computer is a compact and powerful device. Most cyclists enjoy riding with a cycling computer for training, navigation and tracking. The NeosTrack is an ANT+ and Bluetooth enabled device that will be available for $250, and features breadcrumb navigation capabilities. Giant say the NeosTrack was developed with Team Sunweb whose riders have been putting the devices through it’s paces as it faces the demands that a professional cyclist, and their trainers and coaches require.

The computer has a 2.6″ screen, IPX7 waterproofing and five buttons. The power button is on the bottom of the device and their are two buttons on each side of the device. Riders can make use of six pages with a maximum of ten fields on each. There is also an altitude and tracking page for navigation. The device has a claimed 33 hours of battery life which would be a real perk for riders who frequently forget to charge their devices.

Navigation capabilities are limited to breadcrumb tracks. The device can tell you the distance and direction of your next turn but there are no base maps. A route can be uploaded in GPX format onto the device or built on the app with the breadcrumb feature giving you turn-by-turn directions.

Using the Giant NeosTrack App you can build a workout on the device which the NeosTrack can then walk you through once you are out on the road. After a ride, the app allows you to wirelessly upload activities, put workouts on the device, analyze data and track workouts. The app can then sync with your Strava and Trainpeaks profiles.

NeosTrack dimensions: 92.9 x 57 x 20.3mm and weight: 78 g

There are lots of fields to choose from on the device with the usual speed, power and distance along with TSS, power balance and integration with a Shimano Di2 drivetrain. Di2 information like real like gearing ratios and combinations can be seen on the device along with Di2 battery level. You can even scroll through the NeosTrack device using the Di2 shifters. Compatibility with SRAM eTap and FSA WE E-shifting will launch by 2018.

The Giant NeosTrack will retail for $250.
