Canadian track nationals kicked off at the Milton Velodrome with an afternoon of qualifying races, team pursuit and time trials. Olympic bronze medalists in the team pursuit Laura Brown and Kirsti Lay were both on hand though their season is wrapping up. Others like Annie Foreman-Mackey is gearing up for road worlds in Doha, Qatar where she will join her new Twenty16-Ridebiker teammates for the team time trial and represent Canada in the road race. Also on hand for a spin around the velodrome was Canadian national road time trial champion Ryan Roth who was participating in the team pursuit.
