Niner return with updated 2018 mountain bike line
New colours and better internal cable routing for brand with new financial lease on life
Just on time for spring, Niner bikes is launching its updated 2018 line of mountain bikes. Technical improvements are limited to the addition of internal guide tubes on the Jet 9 RDO and Rip 9 RDO, intended to make cable and housing installation for internal guided cables much easier. Both models get nicely updated colour schemes for the new year, though, to keep things fresh.
The Fort Collins, Colo. based brand is launching the new bikes after resolving months of financial insecurity. Niner was purchased last week by UWHK Ltd, guaranteeing the brand will continue going forward. The brand is celebrating its new found financial stability with the launch of the updated Jet 9 and Rip 9 models, as well as an updated road line. It has also announced it will be hiring several new positions to update future models, and has hinted that it could be showing new stuff at Sea Otter Classic next month.
