Hudry Florian of France was over the moon when he crossed the line for the eighth time on Stage 2 of the Tour of Qinghai Lake. The Interpro Stradalli Cycling rider couldn’t believe his luck raising his hands to fist pump the air in excitement. Unfortunately, he still had one lap to race to complete the 115-km stage in Xining. The fact the race wasn’t over wasn’t lost on his fellow escape companion from Holdsworth Pro Racing.

Soon after the jubilant celebration, Florian was reeled into the peloton which was led across the line by Brenton Jones of Delko Marseille Provence KTM. Florian couldn’t hold the pace and finished 1:58 back from the stage winner.
