Watch: Michael van den Ham and Maghalie Rochette preview the Canadian Cyclocross Championships

Peterborough hosts the 2018 Canadian national championships on Nov. 10

Maghalie Rochette and Michael van den Ham will be racing for the elite Canadian national cyclocross titles in Peterborough, Ont. on Nov. 10. After their great rides at the Silver Goose Pan Am Championships in Midland, Ont. they look like the hot favourites for the elite titles.

Van den Ham will be looking to go one better than he did at Pan Ams when he was narrowly outsprinted by Curtis White for the Continental title. Rochette, on the other hand, won a tightly contested race against Ellen Noble to win the colourful Pan Am jersey. They both have one elite Canadian national title in their back pocket. Van den Ham took his last year in Sherbrooke while Rochette won in 2016.
