Video: YT Industries profiles Aaron Gwin, Andreu Lacondeguy and Valentina Höll

Two stars of the sport and one up and coming racer feature in video series from YT

Aaron Gwin

Aaron Gwin
The five-time downhill World Cup overall winner from Morongo Valley, California needs little introduction, but YT Industries gets into the successful racers past experience, motivation, and genuine love of riding mountain bikes. You’ve all seen Gwin at full speed. This video slows him down enough to catch a glimpse of what’s going on behind the goggles.

Andreu Lacondeguy
2014 Red Bull Rampage winner, Andreu Lacondeguy has done everything from dirt jumps to World Cup DH, and now focuses on hitting the biggest lines in mountain biking during the Fest Series events. His relaxed outlook on riding seems at odds with his wild style on the biggest stages in freeriding, but Lacondeguy is clear that all that matters is that you’re making the most of your time on the bike. As for how long he’ll keep riding, and the possibility of retirement? “I don’t think that exists … I think you stop when you’re done, when you can’t even move anymore. Riding is what it is, it’s my thing and I love it. It’s everything.”

Valentina Höll
The 16 year old from Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria is the youngest in the Young Talent series by over a decade, but already winning races across Europe. For her segment, Höll talks about growing up next to a bike park, racing alongside her childhood heroes, and getting to go up against the boys of downhill.

YT Industries continue to stoke rumors of a new rider announcement with their Finding New Talent series. Where the series is headed remains a mystery, but it’s quality entertainment so far. Head to YT’s Young Talent page for the rest of the series. [link]
