Ed Masters wins Canadian Enduro League stop in West Kelowna
Fire in the Mountains enduro brings the heat

We Are One Canadian Enduro League headed to the Okanagan for the second round of the 2023 season, joining forces with the Fire in the Mountains Enduro for the first combined event of this year. True to its name, the race delivered scorching hot temperatures, pushing above 30-degrees Celsius, and blazing fast racing.
Kiwi pro enduro racer Ed Masters dropped in to challenge the local Canadian pros. The Pivot Factory Racing pro narrowly edged out new Rocky Mountain Race Face signee, Emmett Hancock. Noah Rubuliak followed in third place.
Chloe McKenzie earned top honours on the women’s side, burning through the Smith Creek trails to a total finishing time of 21.01.4 after six stages of racing. Keira Flanagan followed in second with Jennifer McHugh rounding out the podium in third place.
Fire in the Mountains Enduro is the first race this year where Canadian Enduro League is partnering with an existing event to expand its series. The race is also a fundraiser for the West Kelowna Professional Firefighters Charity, with the sold-out event helping them support several local causes and initiatives.
