Friday saw Enduro World Cup racing return to Loudenvielle, France for a day of steep tracks and wide-open alpine racing. Jesse Melamed and Emmy Lan had a heck of a go, with Lan winning the under-21 women’s race while Melamed scored a top five in the elite men’s to stay in touch, even if just barely, with Richie Rude in the overall title fight.

Watch elite men’s and women’s highlights from all five stage of the Loudenvielle World Cup Enduro. The World Series coverage continues to focus on the elite and, for whatever reason, the electric enduro racing, so there is not much coverage of Lan’s phenomenal showing in the highlights below. But you can read our full interview with the Vancouver Island racer to catch up.

Loudenvielle EDR Race Highlights

What does the UCI Mountain Bike World Series have to say for itself?

Loudenvielle Peyragudes hosted the penultimate round of the UCI Enduro World Cup, and what a show it put on! Enduro riders enjoyed prime conditions for the five-stage, 38km epic, with racing brought forward a day in order to miss a storm due to roll into the French venue late on Saturday afternoon.

Tight times and full gas racing were the story of the day, with new faces, comebacks, and faultless performances all playing part in what was a truly epic UCI Enduro World Cup!
