Kade Edwards had an absolutely bonkers crash at Crankworx Innsbruck

Speed and Style racing goes wrong for Trek racer and one unlucky photographer

Pro riders make what they do look easy but when things go wrong they go very wrong. During Speed and Style racing at Crankworx Innsbruck, which sees racers judged on tricks and time in a high-risk, high-thrill format, things went wrong for Kade Edwards.

The Trek rider’s hand slipped on a landing and sent him flying out of the next corner, instead of around it. Edwards launches and catches his foot as he tries to eject, sending him into a huge front flip. Making this all the more dramatic, Edwards ejected from the corner directly at a course-side photographer.

Amazingly, both rider and photographer walked away from this scary moment uninjured. You can watch the wild crash cued up in the Speed and Style replay below.
