Bodhi Kuhn has his first World Cup podium of 2023 in the first race of the season, which was the first junior World Cup to be broadcast live. The Trek Factory Racing rider matched his qualifying result in Lenzerheide to take second in the junior men’s downhill on Friday.

The Rossland B.C. racer trailed Italy’s Christian Hauser (Union) by 1.620 seconds in the final. Hugo Marini (Commencal Muc-Off) of France finished third.

In the junior women’s race, Erice van Leuven (Commencal Les Orres) earned a solid win over Valentina Roa Sanchez (Transition Factory Racing) and Frances Lisa Bouladou.
