Train for a century

In the June/July 2011 issue of Canadian Cycling Magazine, we offered up a training guide for preparing for your first metric or imperial century. For many, hitting the 100 km mark is a major target and something that takes weeks to prepare for. Alan Carlsson, a Vancouver-based endurance coach with the Leading Edge Cycling and Triathlon Club in Vancouver, has put together a more indept training plan for anyone looking to complete their first century.
