Video: World champion Nino Schurter on 27.5″ mountain bikes
Olympic silver medallist worked with Scott to hone the rigs with the latest wheel size
World champion and Olympic silver medallist Nino Schurter talks about working with Scott to develop the company’s line of 27.5″ mountain bikes. Schurter began testing protypes at the end of 2011. He says the set up of the bikes has been refined and dialed in.
The Swiss national champion says the bigger wheels on the 27.5″ bikes improves ride quality and provides better handling during rough descents.
He says the frame size also makes the bike more agile and his position on the bike better compared to a 29″ frame.
