The Pinarello Dogma F8 has stood out as a curvy, performance bike since it’s release in mid-2014. Embracing SRAM’s wireless Red eTap groupset, the Dogma F8w puts one of the most interesting and fun to use technological innovations of recent years onto the Dogma F8 frameset. Along with the 11-speed groupset, the F8w receives a flashy coat of red paint to really make it pop out on the road. A few weeks ago I was at the 11 Inc. looking at their bike offerings and here is what I thought stood out on this build.

The eTap shifter configuration will be familiar to users of other SRAM groupsets. The paddle at your left hand, moves the chain into a larger rear cog. The right sends the chain to a smaller rear cog. To switch between the chainrings, 50/34-tooth you push both paddles in at the same time. A nice feature of eTap is that you can switch the batteries from the front to rear derailleur if you ever run out of charge on a ride. The shifters are powered by watch-style batteries and every component has an LED light associated with it to display battery life.

The Pinarello F8w is built up with performance components making it a race ready, lightweight machine with an eye-catching paint job and the fun-to-use eTap groupset. The Pinarello Dogma F8w is available for $17,000 at 11 Inc.
