The new PRO Koryak dropper post

New dropper seat post with internal cable routing available in a 30.9-mm or 31.6-mm diamter

Dropper post have become ever more popular, allowing riders to tackle more technical courses with more confidence on their cross country mountain bikes and then still climb in the perfect position to optimize power transfer. The new PRO Koryak dropper seat post is designed to enhance the enjoyment and versatility of your mountain biking. It’s the companies first cable-integrated dropper post.

The post weighs in a 520-g for the remote and cable. The adjustable alloy seat post features 120-mm of smooth non-indexed travel for easy adjustability on-the-fly.

The post has smooth downward movement and quick, responsive upward rebound thanks to a replaceable air cartridge with the mechanism operated by an internally routed cable. This allows the cable to be run down the seat post and through the frame. The mechanism is operated by Shimano’s Optislick cables for best performance in dirt and mud, and connects to a bar-mounted lever.

The dropper post is available with two lever options, a regular up and down lever which can be mounted on the left or right of the bars, or a Firebolt-style lever which is compatible with Shimano i-spec II for bikes running 1×11 or Shimano’s Synchronized Shift set up. This configuration makes uses the left hand shift lever position for operating the dropper post. Spare air cartridges and new bushes are available to prolong the longevity of the system.

The post is available in a 30.9-mm diameter or 31.6-mm. Prices have not yet been unveiled.
