This is That describes itself as, “a satirical current affairs show that doesn’t just talk about the issues, it fabricates them.” In a recent segment on the web the program documented the small Vancouver, B.C., startup RDRLESS that is developing  bicycles that ride themselves.
The supposed benefits of this technology are that as a more efficient and greener way for traveling, self-driving bike transportation is the way of the future. By then making bikes able to travel riderless it even eliminates human error.
Another benefit as Shelia McKenzie a beta-user of RDRLESS explains is that you can you can send your bike to ride with your friends while you stay at home. “Friends will often call me up to go on a bike ride but I’d rather stay inside and watch Scandal,” McKenzie says. ” Now I just send my bike while I curl up with Kerry Washington.”

This is That says RDRLESS is still in the prototyping phase with its riderless bicycle but will be launching the technology in August and are in the process of developing a tandem for release next spring.
This is not the first time the idea of creating a self-driving bicycle has come up, for April Fools day, Google Netherlands released a similar video that ushered in a revolution in the bicycle capital of the world. Making biking safer, smarter and easier by applying self-driving technology to bikes Google has also entered the race to be the first to develop the technology.
