Teams from British Isles leading the way in this week’s uniform roll-outs

Katusha-Alpecin keeps two-shades-of-red colour scheme

Brand new Irish Pro Continental squad Aqua Blue Sport and British Continental outfit JLT Condor each released fetching 2017 kits this week, while Katusha has flipped its two-shades-of-red for the upcoming season.

Aqua Blue Sport decided to make its first kit a shade of blue other than aqua, opting for a deep navy blue with gold trim. The shamrock is a nice touch.

The new team lineup contains some names that cycling fans will know: Adam Blythe, Stefan Denifl, Matthew Brammeier, Lasse Norman Hansen and Lars Petter Nordhaug.

JLT Condor has jettisoned its black and yellow colours for 2017, going with another navy blue kit, this one with a red band across the chest. Ed Clancy, British mega-medalist on the track, returns for another year.

Katusha is now known as Katusha-Alpecin, picking up the German shampoo sponsor from Giant-Alpecin, which is now called Team Sunweb. Katusha is also no longer Russian-registered, but Swiss. However, the team keeps the two-shades-of-red kit that it adopted last year, just flipping the order of dark red and light red. A touch of light blue is offered on the cuffs of both jersey and dark red shorts. The Alpecin logo is prominent, while Katusha is printed in small letters on the chest.

You can see new rider Tony Martin behind Ilnur Zakarin. Rick Zabel and Robert Kiserlovski are other prominent additions.
