Special bikes for the final stage of the 2016 Tour de France

Chris Froome, Rafal Majka and Peter Sagan ride custom bikes on the final Stage 21 of the 2016 Grand Boucle

The classification leaders will roll onto the Champs-Élysées for the final Stage 21 of the 2016 Tour de France. After three weeks of racing, 113-km are on the menu for Stage 21 which acts as a celebration for the classification leaders and a final opportunity for the fast men of the peloton to take a stage win. Chris Froome, Rafal Majka and Peter Sagan have all respectively won the classifications they lead but that doesn’t mean they don’t get a special bike for the final stage.

Chris Froome of Team Sky will ride to his third Tour de France overall title on top a yellow Pinarello Dogma F8. A rhino motif is found on the top tube of the frame continuing a theme found on his other frames for the past couple of years associated with his ambassadorship for United for Wildlife.

World champion Peter Sagan leaves the 2016 Tour de France with a hattrick of exploits. After a two year dry spell he walks away with three stage wins, the points classification green jersey for the fifth year in a row and the super combativity prize awarded the most aggressive rider over the course of the race. Fittingly, Sagan will ride into Paris atop a shiny green Specialized S-Works Venge ViAS with green handlebar tape and the world championship stripes on his Roval wheels.

Rafal Majka sealed the victory in the polka dot jersey with relentless attacking. With three third places and one second place finish, the Polish champion will be atop of Specialized S-Works Tarmac emblazoned with red polka dots just like the king of the mountains classification polka dot jersey. Majka is celebrating his second win in the Tour de France mountains classification.

The winner of the young riders classification, Adam Yates is celebrating his fourth place in the general classification being the first British rider to win the white jersey. The 23-year-old Yates is on a team issue Scott Addict for the final stage of the Tour.

Andre Greipel won on the Champs-Élysées in 2015 and has yet to win a stage of the Tour. A win in Paris is one of the most coveted victories for sprinters.
