Pinarello unveil Dogma F10 Disc

Details of the Treviso-based company's top-end disc brake race machine

Pinarello have unveiled their 2018 fleet of bikes and amoung them are disc brake models of the range topping Dogma F10, the entry-level Gan and the new endurance K-10 which also sees the rim brake model updated.

If you kept a close eye on the UCI list of approved bikes, you may have noticed that on 19 June a new bike appeared on that list, the Dogma F10 Disc. When the Treviso-based company rolled out their new Dogma F10 they did not have a disc brake model released beside it. For 2018, Pinarello have decided to offer disc models lining them up with the rest of the bike industry that has been rolling out disc brake offerings of their top-end race machines.

The frame appears to have undergone only minor modifications to realize the disc brake model. It still has dropped seat stays, the concave down tube and the fork flaps on the Onda fork though it’s been adapted for thru-axles and direct mount disc brakes. Standard 12 x 142 mm are found at the back-end. The bike can take up to 25 mm tires making it a thoroughbred racing bike. The frame uses an Italian threaded bottom bracket. The new Dogma F10 will be available in mars orange, black lava, black on black, red magma and Team Sky.

Pinarello have also unveiled the new Dogma K10 Disc and Pinarello Gan Disc. The Dogma K10 is aesthetically very similar to the F10 but is more endurance focused and has an elastomer bumper between the seatstays and seat tube which is designed to smooth out the road while the Gan is the more accessible version of the range-topping Dogma F10.

Full details of the new bikes have yet to be released so stay tuned to know when you can expect to see the Dogma F10 Disc and other models on your local bike shop floor, the expected pricing and information on how the stock models will be spec’ed.

The Gan 105 Disc will be available in Canada for  $5,400 with the Gan K Disc with Ultegra starting at $6,800.
