The bike could pose a possible security risk

If there’s one thing about cycling in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia that’s strikingly clear, it’s this: where bike theft is concerned, people take it very, very seriously on the west coast—but so do the thieves themselves.

Take note, Windsor, Ont.-area cyclists: the Windsor Police Service have created a bicycle registry to keep tabs on your ride, an official measure being taken to combat bike theft, or at least mitigate its effects.
