Jolanda Neff joins Emily Batty at Trek Factory Racing XC
Canadian confirms she will remain with Trek after stellar 2018 season
Trek announced today that Jolanda Neff will be joining Emily Batty on Trek Factory Racing XC for 2019.
The Swiss cycling star is an elite world champion, three-time World Cup overall winner, and three-time European champion. Neff has accomplished all of this at just 25 years old.
Trek’s announcement also quiets rumors that Canadian national champion Emily Batty might be moving on from the team. Batty, who has been with Trek much of her career, will remain with Trek Factory Racing XC “for 2019 and beyond,” according to the teams press release.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Jolanda Neff to Trek,” Batty said of her new teammate, “and I know that we’ll be able to bring the best out of each other in racing and training,”
“I’m extremely excited to join the Trek family,” said Neff. “I am passionate about their philosophy of developing strong women’s programs alongside their men’s teams. It’s also a great pleasure that I will be able to race in MTB, CX, and road, all under the same family of teams.”
