On Monday, Canadian Cycling Magazine toured the ExpoCycle, Canada’s bicycle-industry trade show, to see the new bikes and gear that will be in shops next year. Here’s a quick look at some of two-wheeled steeds.
The BMC Teammachine SLR01 has a new frame. It was designed using the company’s ACE technology, which is said to have run through 14,000 iterations of the frame.
BMC mountain bikes are coming back to Canada, including the Fourstroke FS02.
You want to race ‘cross on BMC’s Granfondo GF02, you can. It has the UCI’s sticker of approval on its frame. Want to haul stuff with some panniers? The rear triangle can accommodate a rack with its removable eyelets. The bike is a veritable Swiss Army knife of a machine.
The Threshold is Norco’s mud machine.
Opus joins the 27.5” club with the Nelson 1.0, which runs Shimano XT components.
Opus’s updated Vivace, the Vivace 1.0, has a PF30 bottom bracket and new pencil-thin seatstays.
