Ashton suffered a serious spinal injury in 2013 during a trials demo at Silverstone’s Moto GP, England. During a stunt, Ashton fell backwards from a 10-foot high bar abruptly ending his career and changing his life. Despite being told by doctors he would never walk again let alone ride a bike, Ashton made a triumphant return to the trails in 2015.

Riding with fellow trial riders Danny MacAskill, Chris Akrigg, and Blake Samson in the Snowdonia mountains, United Kingdon in a video called Back on Track, Ashton thrilled fans.

In a new video, Ashton tackled a World Cup level course. Ashton was abroad a custom made bike with a motor for assistance in sections where riders would usually pedal and instead of a saddle the bike is equipped with a seat like the ones used by disabled skiers. Aboard his custom machine, the 41-year tackled a course which annually hosts the world’s best DH mountain bikers.
