Bike Check: World Cup winner Kaitlin Keough’s SuperX
American's Cannondale cyclorcross race whip from Silver Goose Pan-American Championships
After winning the Jingle Cross World Cup, as well as a host of podium results the previous season, Kaitlin Keough entered the Silver Goose weekend as one of the favourites to challenge for the Pan-American championship jersey.
The Cannondale p/b Cyclocrossworld rider was a constant presence at the front of the race on both days, animating the race with attacks and keeping a close eye on Ellen Noble and Maghalie Rochette. Keough ended up second in Saturday’s Silver Goose C2 elite women’s race, behind race winner Noble.
On Sunday, Keough rode in a trio with Noble and Rochette for much of the race. She was eventually distanced by the other two, finishing third in the elite women’s Pan-American championship race behind race winner Maghalie Rochette.
