Marinoni Mountain Bike

Giuseppe Marinoni is best-known for his handmade road and track bikes. But the Montreal frame builder took some forays into creating mountain bikes as that discipline boomed in the late ’80s and early ’90s. This lug-and-tube frame was made around 1990. Since it uses Columbus steel tubes—in this case, from the triple-butted Off Road line—it was most likely built by Marinoni himself. The fork is from Asia as Marinoni wasn’t making such parts at the time.
