Michael Woods and his broken leg buddy
In late November, Michael Woods was recovering at his place in Andorra. He had recently had four screws removed from his right femur. He got the hardware in March, after a serious crash at Paris-Nice. He reflected on the 2020 season as tea was brewing in the background. In spite of the broken leg and the coronavirus pandemic, it was a good one. Maybe his best? “I don’t know. I don’t think so. Maybe yes. Maybe no,” he mused.
