In the cyclocross pits with Shimano Canada

"When a rider comes in, it goes from calm to tense pretty quick."

A few weeks ago, I caught up with Jeff Faulds and the Shimano Canada team, who were providing neutral race support at the 2015 national cyclocross championships. I asked Faulds about life in the pits at a CX race.

“The atmosphere can be tense at times,” Faulds says. “Sometimes it’s pretty calm. When a rider comes in, it goes from calm to tense pretty quick. You’re go, go, go, get them back on the course and riding again. Then there’s sort of a sigh of relief and calm again until the next bit of action.”
