First look: Shimano EQX2 glasses

Shimano added the matte white frame to its EQX2 line of sunglasses for 2014. The specs ship with three types of lenses. For conditions with glare bouncing off of water or the windshields of cars, the polarized pair of lens manages the harsh light, so you can keep your eyes on the road. On days with sun and cloud, you can pop in the photocromic lens, which can get to their darkest hue in roughly eight seconds; their lightest in about 35. For low-light conditions in which you want some eye protection, the clear polycarbonate lens can sit in front of your eyes. They all come coated with anti-fog and anti-scratch treatments. The temple tips and nose pads are adjustable; they make dialling in a snug, comfortable fit easy. Price: $130
