Team Radioshack Madone – $11,699
Trek
13023

Trek’s relationship with Lance Armstrong continues in 2010 with the seven-time tour winner riding the 6 series Madone in the new Team RadioShack colours. The team issue bike uses Trek’s Pro Fit racing-minded geometry and is available to the public through the company’s Project One ordering system. As the team rides it, The Shack bike is paired with SRAM’s Red groupset, Bontrager Aeolus 5.0 wheels, a Bontrager XXX Lite carbon stem and handlebar. In this spec, the bike carries a hefty $11,699 price tag, but through Trek’s Project One website you can order a lower-spec’d Madone in the Team Shack colours for a significantly lower price.

R3SL – $11,800
Cervelo
13024

When a bike company owns and operates a ProTour team, the riders have direct access to the folks designing what they’re riding. But the Cervelo TestTeam riders are using the same gear available to everyday cyclists. The R3SL is available in a full TestTeam component spec from top to bottom. The drivetrain on the team spec is SRAM Red, though Rotor, as one of the team’s sponsors, provides the bottom bracket, crankset and uniquely-shaped chainrings. Zipp 404s or the shallower 303s are used for wheels depending on the conditions and they’re matched to Vittoria Corsa tires. The fork, stem, handlebar and seatpost all come from 3T, while Fi’zi:k provides the saddle.

AR1 Team Issue
Felt
13025

Ridden to much success by the American Garmin-Transitions team, Felt bikes have been gaining in popularity. This year’s team bike, the AR1, is for sale exactly as ridden by pros like David Millar and Ryder Hesjedal. Felt has long focused on aerodynamics to make its bikes go faster and the AR1 continues that theme. Throw on some aero bars and a disc wheel and you could easily mistake this for a full-on TT rig. But the AR1 is a road bike and the Garmin team pairs the aero carbon frame with Shimano Dura-Ace components and Mavic Cosmic Carbone Ultimate wheels. The stem and bar are 3T team models and the lightweight saddle comes from Fi’zi:k . Though it will cost you nearly $11,000 for a full-on ProTour bike, the Felt lineup includes Garmin-Transitions-themed paint jobs on bikes starting at $999.
