Shimano introduces compact CM-1000 multi-sport camera

Shimano introduced a new compact multi-sport camera called the CM-1000 Sport Camera that’s small enough for cyclists to mount to their helmets or handlebars. The camera was made to take high-quality photos and HD videos.

Some of the camera’s key features include photos and HD video. It’s small with dimensions of 44 mm x 70 mm x 30 mm. It’s light, weighing only 86 g. It’s also waterproof up to 10 m. It utilizes WiFi and custom iOS and Android apps for mobile devices.

An important feature for cyclists is that the camera uses ANT+ and ANT private wireless connections to transmit data from bicycle computers and from the recently unveiled D-Fly wireless Di2 transmitter to show cycling data in videos.
