Shimano unveils Di2 wireless D-Fly
Shimano launched its Di2 wireless unit that will connect to select compatible computers and display gear positioning, battery life, and more.
The Di2 wireless unit (SM-EWW01), or D-Fly Data Management system, is a small transmitter that plugs into existing E-tubing road shifting systems, such as Dura-Ace 9070, Ultegra 6870 and Ultegra 6770 electronic groups. It connects and transmits cycling data to a compatible computer typically mounted on the handlebars.
For now, D-Fly is compatible with PRO SCIO ANT+ computers, however, it will work with MIO and other computers in the near future.
