SRAM unveils Guide mountain bike brakes

U.S. bicycle component manufacturer, SRAM unveiled its new Guide mountain bike brakes on Tuesday. The product includes three models and will be available for purchase in June.

SRAM Guide R has four-piston calipers and the company’s Reach Adjust system so that riders can position their brake levers to fit perfectly for one-finger control. They weigh 375 grams and are priced at $129 USD.

SRAM Guide RSC was designed with the company’s SwingLink technology to provide more power, smooth modulation and less deadband when squeezing the brake pads against the rotors. I also has the Reach Adjust and pad contact point adjustment. They weight 375 grams and are available in polished silver ano and black ano for $199 USD.
