Canadian cycling fans will have three compatriots to cheer for in the queen of the classics Sunday.

Michael Barry, Dominique Rollin and David Veilleux will all be starting the 258-km Paris-Roubaix across the cobbles of northern France.

Barry is part of the strong Sky Procycling team and will likely be working for Juan Antonio Flecha, though both Geraint Thomas and Ian Stannard have been strong this spring.

Rollin’s Francaise des Jeux team is being led by veteran Frederic Guesdon, who won in Roubaix way back in 1997.

As for Veilleux’s Europcar team, there’s no obvious leader as Thomas Voeckler is not starting. Alexandre Pichot has been given the team’s first start number — traditionally an indication he’s the team leader.
