AG2R’s new kit simplifies the colour scheme
One of the few 2018 WorldTour jerseys with less white
French WorldTour team AG2R has released its 2018 kit on Tuesday, a less-fussy version of its light blue, brown and white colour scheme. Gone is the one-blue, one-brown arm idea, the proliferation of blue and brown colour blocks and the dominant white of the body. Most new WorldTour kits have added more white.
AG2R had their ace Romain Bardet model the new uniform.

Here’s the 2017 version:
Until recently, AG2R was the home of Canadian Hugo Houle, who signed with Astana for two years in September. One can only imagine what Astana will do with its distinctive outfit now that Movistar has copped its style.

AG2R has picked up Tour de France breakaway fixture Tony Gallopin and 2017 Giro d’Italia stage winner Silvan Dillier (Switzerland) for 2018. The squad finished mid-pack in the WorldTour team rankings at ninth out of 18 teams, with Bardet, third in the Tour, and Domenico Pozzovivo picking up most of the points. Pozzovivo is joining Vincenzo Nibali at Bahrain-Merida next season.
AG2R’s kits, especially its brown shorts, have often been mocked and derided. Puckish Felix Lowe, also known as Blazing Saddles, and others had fun with the new kit and the colour scheme in general.
