Antoine Duchesne shows off Canadian championship kit atop Col du Tourmalet

Groupama–FDJ do Canadian flag proud plastering it on Duchesne's kit

Antoine Duchesne earned the right to ride in the Canadian flag at the national championships in June. The native of Saguenay took a popular win in front of friends and family in his hometown championships. Duchesne’s Groupama-FDJ team do national champions right, never shy to plaster the flag on the team’s kit.

Duchesne kit certainly doesn’t disappoint. The jersey is a mirror image of a Canadian flag and Duchesne will wear matching red shorts to complete the look. There is no mistaking which country he is champion of. Duchesne is the first WorldTour rider to win the Canadian championship title since Svein Tuft in 2014. That means the kit will be lining up at many of the biggest races on the cycling calendar in the remainder of 2018 and the first part of 2019.

Katharine Maine of Rally Cycling won the women’s Canadian championship title in Saguenay and has already been racing in her kit at the BeNe Ladies Tour in Belgium.

Rally have experience doing Canadian championship kits and have given Maine a more stylized red jersey with a large white maple leaf on the chest.
