Antoine Duchesne at Cholet-Pays de Loire

Team Europcar’s Antoine Duchesne placed 29th at the UCI 1.1 Cholet-Pays de Loire on Sunday in France.

The Canadian is making his debut appearance with the French WorldTour team after signing with them last fall for the 2014 season.

Tom van Asbroeck (Topsport Vlaanderen-Baloise) won the 206-km race ahead of Sebastien Delfosse (Wallonie-Bruxelles) and Sebastien Turgot (Ag2r-La Mondiale).

Team Europcar’s top-placed rider was Jimmy Engoulvent in sixth place.

Duchesne was recently in a decisive breakaway during the final stage of the Tour of Langkawi.
