BC Bike Race adds shorter option

The seven-day BC Bike Race from Vancouver to Whistler, B.C. has added a milder option for 2010. Riders who find the 60 km per day of the Epic version, which has been running since 2007, a bit too much, can now opt for 30 km per day in the BC Bike Race Challenge. The lite version of the race will still be run over seven days and will have the same amenities of the full race. The race combined race field between the two events will be capped at 500 riders this year.
