Calling All Female Athletes

The Canadian Cycling Association is holding two track camps for female athletes.

The Canadian Cycling Association is hosting a women’s endurance training camp at the Forest City Velodrome in London, Ontario. The camp runs from July 9-11 and is open to all elite and junior female road, track, and mountain biking athletes. You do not need prior track experience to participate. Track bikes will be provided.

The deadline to apply for this self-funded project is June 22, interested athletes should contact Track Coordinator, Petrina Tulissi (track@canadian-cycling.com). Keep in mind the following CCA selection criteria when applying for the camp: athletes who supply a written expression of interest outlining their goals for future participation in the CCA’s track program.

This project objectives include:
• To expand the pool of female endurance athletes competing on the track.
• To identify athletes who may be interested in competing in the Women’s Team Pursuit.
• To build upon CCA’s successful track program.
