Canada’s cyclocross worlds team

Kabush, Batty, Sheppard and Dyck on the Louisville-bound squad

Canada Cycling Cyclisme announced the Canadian team that will contest the world cyclocross championships in Louisville, Ky., Feb. 2 and 3. Canadian mountain bike Olympians Geoff Kabush and Emily Batty feature on 17-rider team, while Catharine Pendrel declined. National champions Mical Kyck, Evan McNeely and Peter Disera all made the squad.

Canadian champion Kabush commented, “The worlds in Louisville is a unique opportunity and I’m really excited to be racing the cyclocross championships for the first time.”
