Canada's women's team pursuit gold at the Milton World Cup tops the list

Now into the final month of 2017, Canadian Cycling looks back at all the photos shared on the @CanadianCycling Instagram page. Capturing Canadian achievements, celebrity sightings, and just fun times the road and trails there is a lot to look back on.

The most-liked photo on Canadian Cycling‘s account in 2017 was a mini gallery of Canada’s women’s team pursuit squad winning the gold medal at the inaugural UCI track cycling World Cup in Milton, Ont. at the beginning of December. The images were captured by Canadian Cycling‘s Matt Stetson. Annie Foreman-Mackey, Ariane Bonhomme, Kinley Gibson and Allison Beveridge rode in the final against New Zealand in front of an excited home crowd. That event drew a lot of attention and likes as three of the top-nine photos from this year relate to the event.

The new leader of the NDP, Jagmeet Singh who is an outspoken advocate for cycling made it into the top-nine twice after being elected leader of his party. Orlando Bloom is a well-liked movie star and when we re-posted a photo of him heading out for a ride it drew a lot of attention.
