Canadian Junior Men’s Track team in Korea for the Junior World Championships

Cycling Canada CyclismeCycling Canada Cyclisme has sent five riders to represent Canada at the UCI World Junior Track Championships in Gwang Myeog, Korea. Cycling Canada has stated that they are focussing on men’s endurance events this year.  The five riders will be competing in the team pursuit, omnium, scratch race and points race.

Evan Burtnik (Edmonton, Alta.), Connor Byway (Ottawa, On.), Bayley Simpson (Linsay, On.), Adam Jamieson (Barrie, On.) and Alexander Cowan (Calgary, Alta.) make up Canada’s squad. While the team was announced in June, coaches have yet to announce who will race what events.
