Cannondale Pro Cycling release black Castelli training jersey
The team will be wearing a more understated kit for their training rides.
If you are keeping your eyes open for Cannondale Pro Cycling riders out on the roads training, they will now be wearing a more understated kit than their bright green and argyle team jerseys you see on race days.
The team of Mike Woods has introduced a sharp black argyle jersey that the team will wear for their daily training, at team training camps and on group rides away from races.
When the Cannondale-Liquigas and Garmin-Sharp squads merged for the 2015 season under the management of Slipstream Sports and general manager Jonathan Vaughters, the green of Cannondale and the signature Argyle Armada motif of Slipstream were integrated into a black kit. In 2016, the green and argyle were displayed more prominently with the team’s bright green argyle racing jersey.
The training jersey replaces the Cannondale green base colour with black while keeping the same argyle of Slipstream. The jersey is paired with the team’s black bib shorts. The Team 2.0 Dark Argyle Jersey is same jersey model as their race jerseys. The company uses a cut they call Aero Race 5.1 patterning for a snug race fit, mesh side panels for breathability, Prosecco Strada fabric designed to wick away sweat and a full-length YKK Vision zipper to make zipping the jersey up and down on the bike easier.
